A great historical romance.

I LOVE this book! It's one of my 'keepers'. The first (and in my opinion best) book by Julie Moffet, it is set in Elizabethan era England and Poland and starts off with Hannah Quinn being revenge- kidnapped by Stefan Tarnowski minutes before she is to be married to an abuseful, nasty lord. Although he has technically saved her from a doomed marriage, she is still furious at him. But as time goes by as his captive, and the war with Sweden looms, they find their attraction for each other more difficult to ignore. This story has plenty of twists and turns with strong characters and a good plot.

Julie moffett is a wonderfull author, and I really enjoyed reading this book. I especially like the way she intertwines Polish history with the story. I did notice something curious though, the plot of "A Touch of Fire" was extremely similar to Julie Garwood's "Gentle Warrior". I'm curious if anyone else noticed the similarities.
