Things were not going well for Gigi Bernstein. Her life was like a souffle she had repeatedly whisked and labored over but that continually fell flat. She was overweight, thirty-five and single. She needed a miracle.
What she got was Juanita, a guardian angel in Nike sneakers and a peasant dress. juanita had big plans for Gigi...marriage, a child, happily-ever-after, the whole nine yards. If she could only convince Gigi she wasn't going insane, maybe they'd get somewhere.
