I read this book because I had read another of Johansen's books and found it to be pretty good. I didn't realize this was going to be a mindless romance story (and it was all I had to read on a long flight). If you like romance fiction with a pretty-boy hunk, this is for you. If you want any kind of a half-way believable plot with characters that might resemble real people, find another book!

This book (version 2008) was a very quick read. It was interesting and for me a different type of book. I like all the characters and the location in the middle east desert.

I liked David Bradford immediately and how loving, sensitive, yet manly he was. Billie was a mess of emotions and fears which made her very interesting but fun. I would recommend this book.
