Growing up and living in the midwest, my yard is filled with lilacs, peonies, tulips... all the things that won't survive when we move to Florida in a year. This book was a gift and it is priceless. The author explained what will or won't work and why. Already my copy is dogeared and I haven't gotten the first plant in the ground. This is destined to be close at hand for many seasons to come.
