Cole Jacobs runs the livestock from his ranch and is in charge of the crew at the rodeo who maintain the bulls and bucking horses. He has a problem with some people due to his type of Autism, he keeps lists and must follow them to the letter. His cousin who usually works with him is having a difficult pregnancy so she has arranged for another crew member to work with Cole. Shawnee Pickett is sent to him by Cousin Violet to fill in for her, much to Cole's dislike. They are completely at odds, most of the time, but Shawnee is a good worker. I loved this story and all the characters involved.
