Not for the laid-back open paganism crowd, Sorita d'Este's Towards the Wiccan Circle is a well written and mature introduction to the more detailed and serious workings of a "traditional" type of Wiccan coven. Simple yet complex, it makes few assumptions about your previous knowledge, yet doesn't "dumb down" the information like so many introductory books on the subject. Highly recommended.
