This was a page turner, like Morris West's books in general. It's a peak into the complex world of a spy and a very good description of the mysterious world of international intrigue. And like Morris West's books in general, there is justice.

A good novel that takes place in the days leading up to the Six Day War. Well told in sense of the human drama and the historical aspects of the times and conditions of the Middle East, with the volatility of the times that has changed little in the 38 years since is was written. An original Book of the Month Club selection.
