I requested 3 books from a member and they provided me w/ a tracking number. I tried w/ USPS, but that wasn't there. Am I missing somewhere on this site to track my package? |

If they paid postage via PBS, you will be able to track the book from your account page. If they didn't, then there's not much you can do. It's likely they mis-typed the tracking number when they sent it to you. If you really do want to track the book, you can PM the sender and let them know that the tracking number they sent doesn't work. |

If they used PBS delivery confirmation, a tracking icon will show up on the "en route to me" tab of the main "My Account" page. (I don't have any en route to me with tracking right now, and I can't recall exactly what it looks like or where it shows up. I think it's a yellow circle with a green check mark.) If it's USPS delivery confirmation, sometimes it takes a while to show up. If they mailed the books this morning, the scan when they dropped them off at the post office might not show up online until this afternoon. |

Also, even if it's a valid DC number, it can sometimes take quite some time for it be recognized by the USPS system. I've mailed things with DC and the next morning the USPS website still said the number wasn't found. |
