I have Laurie Notaro's new book There's a (slight) chance I might be going to hell and wanted to know if anyone had another good book to trade for it...or do I just list it and let whoever gets it take it?  I don't have any credits and wanted something good to read over the holiday.  Let me know.  My book is brand new with a little crease on the cover due to how it was packed.

I'm sorry, but you can't trade books on here. Books must be exchanged for credits. You can offer it up with an order off your shelf if you want.

Someone from here can pick it from your bookshelf or you can post it.  There are over 100 people looking for that book and first one up has 48 hrs to tell you yes or no.  If you dont have credits someone can send you some, called buddying them to you or you can buy them.   Some people offer unpostables for free to whomever wants them.

I have lots of books right now and not many credits,  I have used 25 credits in the last 2 weeks.   Sold some & used some.  I'm trying to clear out some books by offering what I have on a 2/1 or 5/2 deal.

If you post the book you'll get a credit for it when someone orders the book. If you need credits you can buy some from PBS or another member.  If you want a book to read over the holidays you better go out and buy one because mail is slow right now. You won't get anything you order now from  PBS before New Years.

You can trade if you join box of books I think...seems like it's $8 for the year but then you have to find another boxer willing to trade. Some like it but I havne't tried it since I tend to keep a lot of the books I read.

If you wnat to buy some credits iwth paypal or money order I have 3 I can recommend to you who are cheaper than the kiosk though the kiosk is much faster.

Yes, you can swap book for book in the Box o Books feature. But, any popular wishlisted books won't make it that far because as soon as you post them into the system, they will be put on WL hold and not be available for a boxer transaction. I joined Box o Books at first because it is a great way to get more new books when you are short credits. Now that I have a mountain of books to read and plenty of credits, I have my BoB on hold.

Welcome!

Alas, you better tell Santa to bring you a good book for reading during the holidays because books via media mail will be slow this time of year.
