Not sure this is the correct forum to ask this but any info is appreciated. I'm thinking of getting an e-reader. Can e-books be traded? Anyone know of a place to do this? Not sure if I want an e-reader or not but sure would save room in my tiny house! Thanks, Lana |

You can borrow some e-books from your friends, but I'm pretty sure you can't trade them. |

EBooks are legally considered a lease, not an end use item like a CD or book. There are a very different set of rules. Several seller's let you do a one time loan though their own website. Come visit the eBook forum. And look to see if your library has a good eBook selection. |

Check out http://lendle.me/. It is a borrow site for e books I like. Amazon lets you loan your e books out twice for a certain length of time. You can also get free e books on amazon some really current books as specials for the day. Most e readers will let you download the kindle app free if you don't get a kindle. |

You can also borrow books from libraries to read on your Kindle or Kindle app. On other e-readers I'm sure as well. It sure does save space and with the free reads from the libraries it's a win-win situation. I know all the NYS libraries offer loans for ebooks and imagine other states do as well. |

There are countless free ebooks available. On Amazon alone, check out this search: Amazon recently added Audible.com audiobooks, many of which are also free: |
