From successful parents, learn how to: maintain fellowship with your child, spank less, and get total obedience.

One of the best books I've read on parenting. I'm even keeping a copy for myself to refer to when needed.

I didn't agree with every single thing they wrote in this book. it's very rare when I will agree with 100% of what an author says. But it is a great little book on how to TRAIN UP your child. Very quick and easy read. Highly respected authors and very highly recommended.

And they are very clear on how the goal is to arrive at very little to NO SPANKING. And they also mention grow closer to your child... an almost attachment parenting kind of thing.

I also loved the humorous slant, and the fact that they have well behaved, Christian ADULT children, shows me that they do in fact know what they are talking about.

I'm going to buy a few for a couple of close girlfriends... it's that good.

An aside about the reviewer that is slandering the Pearls.... if you go through and read all of her reviews.... she mentions that her 3 year old daughter is throwing food at the dinner table! If that is how you want your child to act then go ahead and follow her advise. lol
