This manga poses the question, can a sucessful, tall, intelligent woman even find love? Sumire's love life is far from sucessful. Many men find themselves intimidated by her career and education, so relationships often end badly. So Sumire doesn't have to deal with any more heartbreak, she decides that she will only date men if they are taller than her, have higher pay, and are better educated. How possible is this for our statuesque, ivy-league educated career woman? Sumire finds that she has difficulty connecting to others. That is until a mysterious homeless man shows up on her front steps. Desperate for a companion, Sumerie decides that she wants to keep him as a pet. Strangely enough, he agrees. What will happen next?
Tramps like us is a strongly written manga with great characters and situations that are easy to relate though. I look foreward to continuing this series.

One day she finds a homeless younger man in a cardboard box. She takes him in and agrees to feed and care for him as long as she can call him "Momo," the name of her childhood dog. Sumire takes Momo's companionship for granted, and does not give his past much thought. She continues to work and date, while Momo remains her secret at home. Slowly secrets of Momo's previous life are revealed, and when he goes missing Sumire realizes that Momo means more to her than she is willing to admit.
This is a quick read, and Momo is a likable character. Can't wait to see what happens in the next installment (although the pet thing is a little weird.)
