I've been a PBS member for 3 months and have just started to re-post books that I received through PBS. Just for a little fun, I checked the footprints on several books that I've mailed out. It is quite amazing to see that some of my books already have been swapped two more times. (It is especially amazing since it usually takes about 4 weeks for my books to get delivered.) It's nice to see books moving through the system and being enjoyed by other readers. Now I feel like I should go finish another book! I have always loved the luxury of having a pile of new (to me) books to choose from. PBS is heaven.

The weird thing is even the books I have recieved haven't been anywhere!! like I'm the first one to get them, which is weird right? like 2 out 30 have footprints, and the ones I've sent, have none (people aren't reposting them or something, who knows)...

I love to track the books I've sent out and the ones I receive.  It's another great time-waster.

Have you seen the "most traveled copies" link under the search menu?  I just noticed it yesterday, not sure when it appeared but it's cool!

Wow!  that's really cool!  And you can order that volume to become another stop on the journey!  I don't think I would because then it would most likely sit on my TBR pile and that would be too bad.

Cool! I didn't know about the "most traveled copies" thing. I actually ordered on of them!

Thanks for sharing the "most traveled books" feature -- that's really interesting.  I saw two books there that are on my bookshelf; instead of an "order this book" button, PBS instead tells me that I have a copy of that book posted.  Very thoughtful.

That most swapped books feature is pretty interesting in the fact that if you order from that page you are getting that exact copy of the book, not the first available through FIFO.

Awww, the most swapped books only goes down to 5 swaps.  Not below.  I wanted to see the least swapped books.
