Would it ever be possible to have a box on the transaction archive where you can type the name of the book you are searching for?  I have a terrible memory and I see a book that interests me and notice it is on my transaction archive.  I go to see what the history is and it takes a long time to go through so many books.  Looking for it in my house isn't any better.  I had another question but I don't remember.  Thank you.

Well...you can sort the Transaction Archive anyway you'd like (alphabetically by title or by author, etc, etc), so you should be able to find it fairly quickly that way.

If it is on my Transaction Archive, I either had it and swapped it (so it should also be on my BIR list) or I wanted it and got it, so it should be on my TBR list. Either way, I don't need it now!

Beth, I also wish there was a search function in the transaction archive.  I have had to go through many pages more than once looking for something.  You can narrow it down some by choosing different options like just sent books or just received books, but you still end up having a lot to go through if you've been here a while.

What I do, is press CTRL and F keys, which opens a search box, and type in whatever I am looking for.  You still have to search each page of your TA, but the computer can look over the whole page a lot faster than I can.

And I don't type in the whole thing I am looking for, either.  For instance, if I was searching for "To Kill A Mockingbird", I would just type in mock.  Because how many books have mock in the title?

I think Diane's solution is a good one.  I use the search/find function for all kinds of things.  As Diane points out--the search would need to be done a page at a time, but it works well.

I have been here for a long time.  Would just be nice to just get to it without having to go through page after page.  I will try aphabetical, books received and see what happens.  Thank you for your advice.

well, i would if I could remember the title.  Crap.  This memory thing is ruining my life.

I had to go through every type of transaction before I found it in cancelled by sender.  Funny thing is, the sender and I have become friends.  So, I emailed her to see if she can remember why it was cancelled.  This happened in 2011.  If she can remember, I will be impressed.  So, i still think a search box would be wonderful.
