This is a very thick hardcover book with lots of children's stories in it. Each two page spread has one page of full color illustrations and the othe page is the text. Meant as a read-aloud book for children from toddler age (if they have the attention span) up through as long as your child will let you read aloud to them!
The stories range from fairy tales to Greek Myths to George Washington choppping down the cherry tree.
If you are a fan of having a lot of stories within one book binding this is the book for you. If you already own a lot of these stories as separate books then this could be unnecessary.
Also this would be great for a grandparent to keep at their house for read-aloud's while visiting.
