This book is chock-full of different types of needlecraft projects for the home. The chapter are as follows: Patchwork and Quilting; Applique; Crocheting and Knitting; Needlepoint; Embroidery; Rug Making.
Everything from collecting fabric to quilt patterns to quilted novelties is covered in Chapter 1.
In Chapter 2, Appliquing is covered from the basics to patterns to being creative with this form of needlework.
Chapter 3 includes afghans, items for the dining room and bedroom, accessories, and basic stitches and instructions for crocheting and knitting.
The 4th chapter, "Needlepoint", the basics and stitches are illustrated, projects for pillows, rugs, frames, pictures, stools, trinket boxes, creche and more are provided.
"Embroidery" is the topic in 5th chapter. This includes folk, old-fashioned stitchery, nature designs, x-stitch & counted thread techniques, machine embroidery, + basic and special stiches are illustrated.
The final chapter is about "Rug Making". Covered in this chapter are rag & braided rugs, knit & crochet rugs, hooked rugs, special rug making techniques and creative rug making.
