Well written suspense novel.

(From the back cover) Dan Donahue earned his reputation as a cautious man - first as a member of the elite intelligence unit known only as the Knives, and later, as Washington's chief security agent. His sudden death by car bomb caught everyone by surprise, especially ex-Knive Brad Gaelman.

Suspecting his best friend's brutal death to be more than the result of a routine order of termination, Brad helps Dan's only daughter, Nancy, to uncover the truth behind her father's assassination. What they find is an intricate web of international corruption, powerful enough to control governments, deadly enough to cost them their lives.
