Normally, I greatly enjoy all of Brian Jacques' books. This one and Marlfox have always seemed to be the two exceptions. It's still good. It's just not on par with some of my bigger favorites. Pick it up anyway--no Redwall book should be skipped over.

This audiobook is about Triss, a young squirrelmaid who is a slave. Triss makes a daring escape and the story is about her escapades, along with her friends, who are trying to reach the Abbey in Mossflower Woods. A great story.

Triss is a female squirrel, who fights for her fellow slaves freedom. An adventure with clashing sword fights, treacherous foes, faithful friends and journeys untold. My children, both boys and girls enjoyed
the Redwall series.
