Has anyone read Troy Soos's series of baseball mysteries? I was wondering if they are more mystery or baseball, and would they be a good gift for an avid baseball fan.

I have read his book Island of Tears and it was excellent. Similar to Rhys Bowen's Murphy dealing with a immigrants at the turn of the century.
