Typical Luanne Rice: a story that sweeps you in with characters you feel like could live right down the street. She makes you care about their heartaches and joy. In this one Rumer's childhood best friend and almost lover is returning to town. The only problem is that he's also her ex-brother in law. You know where this is going the entire time, but it's a pleasant ride. Worth the time.

This is a story about childhood friends who reunite after one of them betrays the other. They find out that true love really does exist. An excellent book. For me, I had a hard time putting it down because I wanted to keep reading to find out what would happen next.

Good story with great characters that work well together. The dialogue flows well, too.

This book was well worth my time & I enjoyed it while I was reading it. This is my first book by Luann Rice. Apparently, she uses the same Connecticut beach town as the setting for several of her books.

I enjoyed reading this book very much. I haven't found a Luanne Rice book I didn't like yet!

This book was not one of my favorites by Luanne Rice but was still a good book and everyone should read it at some point.

My first Luanne Rice read, which got me hooked on all her others... Love it!
