This book fooled me. Recently I have been making it a policy to only read non fiction and my favorite NF is true crime. Well, this book IS true crime and it IS based on a true crime and it is called true crime but it makes liberal use of fiction. I was very happy with the book--in 1997 two lovers were shot in the head as they sat on the beach in Seaside, OR. This book investigates the basic facts and weaves around them a very interesting story. Best of both worlds--a good fiction and a real event.

This is not the published version. It is a "uncorrected proof" printed before publication of the mass distribution. Based on the true crime of the Murders of Gabriella Goza and Kacy Nimz on the beach in Seaside Oregon July 14, 1997.

Not a true crime book but a novel entitled "True Crime". It is the story of two lovers shot on the beach; and an investigative reporter who locates evidence that the police chief overlooked. It is an easy read and very entertaining. Humor, mystery, and a great cast of characters. The perfect book when you want to be entertained.
