Have you read Frankenstein, by Mary Shelley?  If so, in what genre would you place it?  I want to read it for the 2010 Challenge but am uncertain which requirement it best fits.  Seems one of several would work.  What do you think is most appropriate?

Thanks for any thoughts.

  1. Classic  horror.
  2. New-to-me author
  3. TBR
  4. Sci-fi (says Wikipedia)
  5. High school reading list.

Horror or sci-fi would be best because they seem most difficult to find a book for.

I second what TT says.  Technically, it's probably a little more scifi than horror (IMO), but that's just quibbling.

I appreciate  your comments.  It sounds like it will work for Horror or Scifi.  When I Googled it, one link classified it as Gothic.
