I don't know if this is the right place to post this.  If it isn't, someone please let me know, and I will delete the contents.

I've been a member of PBS for almost 2 years, and I'm close to filling in both the "Books Mailed" and "Books Received" maps.  I'm just curious how many other member pay any attention to their maps, and which states they still need to complete them.

I have mailed to 43 states, and DC.  I still need to mail to:

  1. Idaho............416 members
  2. Mississippi......478 members
  3. Montana..........253 members
  4. North Dakota.....146 members
  5. New Mexico.......391 members
  6. South Dakota.....198 members
  7. Wyoming..........148 members

I have received from 44 states, DC, and Puerto Rico.  I still need to receive from:

  1. Idaho............416 members
  2. Louisiana........683 members
  3. North Dakota.....146 members
  4. New Hampshire....463 members
  5. New Mexico.......391 members
  6. Wyoming..........148 members

As you can see, some states don't have a lot of PBS members, so it might be hard to complete the maps.  How many members do you think have completed both?

Nancy, I live in New Mexico.  Let's swap a book so you can fill in my state.   Nancy, glad we could get it done.  I have swapped with quite a few folks from NM so I will check out the bookshelved of those of you needing to mark off New Mexico.

The only state I lack is sending to North Dakota and receiving from Idaho.  Isn't that weird.  I have everybody else!

I now have received from all the states but Puerto Rico. I don't know why I thought it was ID, but I have sent 2 books to PR, just not received to me.

I have sent to all 50 states as of today.      My book to ND was marked received this AM.   It was a soup cookbook.  Very appropriate for the season.  The only blank space on my map is the Upper Penninsula of Michigan.

Fantastic Pamela!!  :P  I want to thank you for being willing to swap books with me.  I just ordered 2 books from you.  I'm doing a 3 for 1 deal on all of the books on my shelf, so just order 1 and PM me with the titles of the other 2 you want.

Maybe someone from North Dakota and Idaho will help you with your map.  Hope so!!!

I PMed you.

Cool.  That's what I thought, but I'm often way off on name pronounciations.  One of the more annoying aspects of being a romance reader, btw; I never get the unusual names right:P

I never paid any thought to it, but it's interesting now that you mention it. Here's what I need:

I need to receive from: Oregon, Idaho, Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, Nevada, Utah, Colorado, Wyoming, New Mexico, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Iowa, Louisiana, New Hampshire, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maine, Alaska, Hawaii, and PR

I need to send to: Washington, Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, Utah, Colorado, Wisconsin, New Mexico, Louisiana, Alabama, Mississippi, South Carolina, Kentucky, Tennessee, West Virginia, Maryland, Delaware, DC, Vermont, New Hampshire, Maine, and Alaska

I have a long ways to go!

I ordered a book from you Pamela, and I want to thank you for ordering 1 from me.  Now my yet to be completed list is smaller.  Wish I could help you with the 2 states you still need.

It looks like I haven't mailed to Utah, Wyoming, Montana, South Dakota, and Maine.

And the only state I haven't received from is South Dakota.

You are the bomb, Sherri!  You are a book swapping Mamadoodle.

How long have you been a member?   How many books have you swapped in and out of your bookshelf?  Just curious.

I've been a member since 2/2006.    I've received 629 books and traded 616 books.  Honestly I had no clue until I looked.  ;-)

Well, I live in Texas which probably has a gazillion members, so I doubt I'll be able to help anyone out with their map.  LOL   I'm pretty sure everyone has sent to and/or received from my state.

I have about 8 states left on one map and about 12 on the other.

Josie,

In your transaction archive under Books Mailed and Books Received, click on Map. The maps will show which states you have sent/received your books.

I am fairly new to PBS and was able to do several deals posted in the Book Bazaar of people trying to send to Wyoming. So for me being a member from a less well represented state has worked well. It was a great way to extend my very few credits. I have still sent out so few books that there is no real point in checking the map. Now off to look at some bookshelves. I predict that the few credits I have managed to acculumate will soon be gone.
