My printer is on the fritz, and I need to hand write the address and take the book to the post office. When I go through the Print Wrapper path and click the "If you need to hand write the address" option, it asks me if I'm sure I want to print with postage, and says it will deduct the amount from my account. Shouldn't it just display the recipient's address at that point? I'm afraid to proceed at that point because I don't want it to deduct the money since I have to pay at the post office anyway. Thanks for any help. Jane |

You may have changed the default at some point from no additional services to the PBS postage option. Click on the button that indicates that you don't want PBS delivery confirmation or PBS postage -- it's the top option. Then you can click to print the wrapper so as to see the address.
Or this is from the Help Center: Can I hand-write the address to send a book?
Yes. If you cannot (or do not wish to) print the wrapper, you may hand-write the address on your package. You will need to access the address from the request for the book on your My Account page, just the same way you would begin if you were going to print it; then just click the "hand-writing" option at the bottom to view the address that you can copy onto your package. If you choose to hand-write the address to send a book, neither PBS Delivery Confirmation or PBS Printable Postage may be used for that shipment.
Here is how to get the address:
IMPORTANT:Be sure to include the Request ID# as part of your return address.
Be sure to mark your package conspicuously MEDIA mail if that is the rate you are using to mail it.
