I was trying to invite someone to join Box of books from the main page and nothing is happening.  Does anyone know if this feature is not working properly?

It may depend on how often the person logs on.  I had forgotten I had invited some one to box over a month ago and just had a reply a few days ago.

BoB has also had some glitches lately.  If it was a few days ago that you sent the request, it is possible that this part of the system was messed up, too - but I don't know.  If you don't get a reply in a couple weeks, you might try again : )

I thought about the fact that the person doesn't log on often, but the thing is, when I clicked on the botton to invite, nothing happened at all.  The screen didn't change, or tell me that the person had been invited or anything acknowledging that I did it.  I tend to think that something just wasn't working properly and I will try again in a few days.  Thanks for the help.
