For anyone who's world was changed by MacArthur's Park, or Galveston, or Carpet Man, or Highwayman, or countless other Webb songs; or hooked by the innumerable artists who covered his songs or did whole albums of his material (like Richard Harris, The Fifth Dimension, Linda Ronstad, Sinatra, and most recently Michael Feinstein and his exquisite "Only One Life" CD); this book is all about the art of song writing, and a lot about Jimmy himself. In a few words: a pure delight.
