The invasion that the Pumoc tribe has been hoping will not come is here.

Most of the tribe has lived in the same village, in peace, their entire lives. Now they must leave their home and head off to an uncertain future in unknown lands. Running for their lives in search of the great mountain, Moba.

They will face starvation, lack of water, death, strange territory, unexpected weather extremes, dangerous tribes, and the unknown. Most importantly though, they will have to face themselves. Each one of them will have to decide where they are willing to place their faith if they are to have a chance to survive.

The plot itself is good. The essence of struggle that occurred among many Native American tribes is very evident in this story. There is an abundance of interestingly named characters and places, which was a little confusing at times. I liked it; I just wish there was a little bit more to the story.
