It's more that 20 yrs since single art teacher Marion Hardcastle visited Italy, but memories of that happiest of times still haunt her. So when Tom and Janice Cowlishaw invite her to holiday, the lure of a blissful week in a tuscan palazzo proves too much to resist. Perhaps Toms words "Hasta La Vista, the tickets have come." should have warned her - but long before she gets on the plan, Marion realizes she might not have a lot in common with her holiday companions. Once at the papazzo, it becomes clear that their incompatabilities are the least of their problems. The owner of this charming debt-ridden property, the fabulously rude Pamala Fratorelli, if far more interested in entertaining her celebrity visitors than in looking after the paying guests whose check she has already cashed. But slowly, under the hot Italian sun, the class and culture barriers between these groups start to melt and a delicious mixture of romantic entanglements begin to unfold.....
