With the exception of the f-bomb used VERY frequently , in different circumstances, but totally unnecessarily, I enjoyed this book. The characters are well developed and the plot slowly unfolds. It becomes a gripping story until the end.

A rather implausible story about a tutor who ingratiates himself into a family of 4 and odd things begin to happen and the only one to begin figuring them out is the 11 y.o. daughter Ruby, who is quite likable and also enamored of Sherlock Holmes.

This book actually had me pretty hooked from the first chapter. Never a lull in the plot. Always something going on.

This book was quite unputdownable for me. The story of the Gardner family and what happens to them when they hire a tutor for their son. Outstanding!
