I have had some tutoring experience, both volunteering and for payment. I would like to pick up some tutoring jobs again, but would like to have some sort of certification. A quick google search helped me discover that there is an American Tutoring Certification, ATA. You must have a bachelor's degree, which I lack. I have some college experience, but did not complete. It did say, however, that if you had a high school diploma, the ATA had an approved program that could bypass the degree portion of the qualification if you completed the program successfully. There was a link to click on for more information. The link was broken. Now I am stuck. Does anyone have any information or advice to help me accomplish what I'm trying to do here? I would be interested in tutoring in math, maybe even science. Please help!
