It is rare when three authors write an anthology round robin style. In fact, this is the first book I've read that is written that way. Sandra Hill wrote all of the chapter's from Sam's POV, Trish Jensen wrote Kevin's, and Kate wrote Stan's. It's also rare to read a romance book from the male's POV! I have to say I found it quite refreshing.

Three orphans and friends, Kevin, Sam and Stan are invited to attend the wedding of their friend George for Christmas Eve. However, a snow storm has shut down the airline for Blue Angels Pilot Sam. So, he decides to ride on the Santa Brigade, a bus filled with senior citizen Santas doing good for orphans. Bad enough to be stuck for the ride to Maine on a bus with senior citizen santas, but also the group director is none other than Sam's ex-flame, Rebecca Anderson.

Along the journey, they pick up bounty hunter Kevin, who has his newest capture in handcuffs, none other than fiery tempered Cassandra Brandt. But that's not all, the bus also picks up ex-pro quarterback Stan and a beautiful fire ranger, Dana Freeman.

The whole ride is full of sparks, humor, romance, and we learn about what has molded these fine strong characters. The writing seems to flow so seamlessly, you would think it was written by one author -

that's how great these writers are! Things may get tough, but love can bring you through, but you have to work at it. But then again, like my pappy told me, if it's free, it's not worth keeping. If your looking for an enjoyable romance to read this holiday season, pick up 'Twas the Night! Simply Wonderful!!
