When I first picked up this book, mu husband thought I was a bit of a nut. Why, he asked, would you want to read a book about Brigham Young's 27th wife. I didn't know myself but thought it was a bit different than what I usually read. To make a long story short, it is a very interesting book that provides a history of the Mormon church and the founding of the territory of Utah. It also looks at the lives of some pretty interesting people. It was a good read.
