From an adult perspective, this book is horribly irresponsible. This is not the kind of relationship people should be striving for, and because of that, in some ways I feel like teenaged girls should not be reading it. Im not for censorship, so the kiddies can read what they want, but they should all really talk to their parents about the book afterwards. Edward is controlling, manipulative, threatening, and stalkery. Not the kind of man yall want to be with, ladies! But dont forget! He is beautiful!

I'm re-reading this. my original review is below.....
August 10, 2010 (my BIRTHDAY!!)
omg- still love this book- if its possible, even more than the first time i read it.
last time i read it i got through it and new moon and this time im going to read the entire series start to finish.
yes- its a easy read, and some people think its a silly romance, but i love romance, and i just get to involved in this story. yes,i do pretend im bella, and i imagine edward and i. lol.
i reread this in a day because i cant put it down. i love her writing- i ca just picture each scene and i love the impossible romance and the heroism and just the ideality (is that a word?) of it all.
i love the whole us against the world, painful teenage romance of it all.and hello- vampires!!!!!
and yes- i am definitely team edward!!!

i LOVE LOVE LOVE this book! it is definitely in my top 5 favorite books of all time. i only wish i had read it BEFORE seeing the movie, because i realize how badly certain characters were cast (except Edward- he makes me swoon- in the book and the movie!) this is such a great story. im not usually into vampire books but i love the take on it. im starting the next book tomorrow. i wish the series didnt have an ending!
