This is a fascinating book containing excerpts from interviews from an extraordinary spectrum of perspectives soon after the Rodney King riots in Los Angeles. Journalists, members of King's family, gang members, business owners, activists, senators, jurors, witnesses, and government officials all contributed to the work, chronicling this important moment in American history.

Apparently, this just isn't my cup of tea. Although I normally enjoy poetry very much, and this is written in a poetic form, it didn't grab my attention. However, it probably will 'speak' to others.
