Hello!!  I am a 30-something Twilight fan looking for a new series to read.  I have already read the following:  The Vampire Diaries, House of Night, and Vampire Academy all of which I REALLY enjoyed.  I would like to stick with YA, basically because I am creeped out by the some of the books in the "romance" genre, not because of the language or sexuality...but more because of the craptastic-fabio-in-training covers!  Just kidding...I have just had some really good luck with the past few series that I have read...but it is time for something new.  Any suggestions?

Thanks!

Nikki

It's not in the YA category, but the Sookie Stackhouse books are fabulous!  Fabio is not involved at all LOL

Romance/vampire type books...any suggestions

There have been many threads on this subject, the one linked to above is just one of them.  Look at old threads here and in the Hidden Gems forum.

Uglies, Pretties, Specials were good. There is a fourth book to that series called Extras but it wasn't great.

It's not vampire but it is young adult and they are good.

S.E. Hinton wrote a great vampire book...Hawks Harbor (If memory serves).  I love SE Hinton, and this book was wonderful.
