I loved the whole series! I couldn't put it down, I read the whole series in less than a week. It is a classic in the making. As a parent I also apprecited how moral it was since it is for young adults. The series is backed by sound morals and family values that are lacking in many YA books. Meyer promotes close family units, no drug use, safe driving, no sex before marriage, etc... Though there is sex in the last book it takes place after Belle and Edward are married which is more than I can say about many other YA vampire series. In fact it is Edward(the male main character) that encourages the abstinance throughout the series which I beleive is an excelent example for young males... one I would love to find in any boy who would date my daughters. All and all loved the books and would recommend them to anyone. They would make a great Mother/Daughter read.

I love this book. It's not one I read over and over, because to me, while it is well written the plot is mush. Bella is an insecure teenager who is very average. She has never lived out side of her own comfort zone, and when she moves to forks with her dad, she finds her self in a ware wind of drama she had never before experienced. Edward the vampire is anything but average and to Edward, Bella is the epitome of the word so they are drawn to each other, by the simple truth that opposites attract, and each are what the other desperately desires to be. Bella wants more self esteem, Edward wants to find some of his lost humanity. It's a sweet mind relaxing love story. I love it, My mom loves it, and my 12 year old sister loves it. I would not recommend letting children under the age of fourteen read all four books with out parent's reading it first and deciding if your child is mature enough to handle some of the issues mentioned in the books.

Don't start reading unless you have time to read all four. Once you start, you will not be able to stop!
