I'd like to see if there are any other fans of Stephenie Meyer's Twilight book series.

The first book in the series is called Twilight

the second is New Moon

the third is coming out in early August which is called Eclipse

I wondered if there were any other Cullen lovers on here. lol since the series is growing in popularity and may eventually be a movie series too.

Oooh, I am so in love with this series it's not even funny. I'm actually so low that I"ve been going to the train station near me (because sometimes they'll put the books out early) asking if they have it. I want it so bad. The quotes on her website everyday entice me more and more to go get it!

I find it hilarious that i'm 36 y.o. and am in love with this series.  I can't wait for Eclipse.  I go to her site all the time and read the shorts and stuff.  I love Edwards view of Twilight on her site.  Midnight Sun is what it's called and it's under the other novels tab.

She took off the first chapter of "Midnight Sun"!

And i's so bad... everyday I check for her quote of the day from "Eclipse" and it makes me want it even more...

I love these books.  I just started reading them.  I read Twilight  not knowing it was part of a series.  It took me a week to find New Moon.  Now I can't wait until August for the next one.

I'm a Jacob fan, although I like Edward a lot, Jacob has really grown on me.

I started reading these books for the sadest reason, I had to do a report on the ALA Top ten books for young adults and bought Twilight  as I need to have read six books that had been placed on the list. I read Twilight and loved it. I am on the waitting list for the second and third books and can not wait to read them.

Jacob was my man from the start and I knew he was going to be a werewolf from the beginning. I was just waiting for it to happen.

though if you read the first chapter of Eclipse, it makes you want to hit him for being such an ass, but Edward appears as wonderful as ever, minus the thousands of college applications for Bella.

I still think it's funny that Charlie is so pissed at him....makes me laugh.

I already bought Eclipse, through Amazon.com, I just have to wait for August 7th to come so that it can get mail to my house.

I can't wait. I'm so excited to see Bella's next adventure, Hopefully they can finally get rid of Victoria.

I'm a big fan of the books! Apparently some people who ordered theirs on the net got them early on accident. Oh, and I just noticed the first chapter of Eclipse is posted on Stephenie Meyer's website, and it's pretty good. Although I'm not sure how I feel about the theme of the next book. -- Edward: I hate Jacob. I will kill him. Bella: Please don't. Jacob: I hate Edward. I will kill him. Bella: Please don't.

huge fan of the series. i'm planning on doing an illustrated version of the series someday, i'd love to draw my favorite parts of the book. i can't wait to read the next one. personally i hope bella turns into a vamp or even a were, not sure if that's possible but it'd be interesting.

awesome. I'm quite the artist myself. I'd love to see the pictures, when you finish.

=)

I watched this the other day, Stephenie and a group of fans talk about the series and what we should expect in the third installment.

Enjoy.

She looks so young. It is really quite entertaining, I wish I was a part of the discussion.

August the 7th..........Not too far away.  I was hoping that walmart would put it out early (they did on another book I was waiting for).

But no such luck.

I picked up my addition of Eclipse last night and have already read half of it.  I love this series and can't put these books down.  I'm curious to see what others think of Eclipse as they read it!!

I just got mine today but I can't read two books at once.

So as soon as I'm done with Circus of the Damned, I'm reading Eclipse and I cant wait. Then maybe we can finally have a discussion on here.

I read Twilight, then I had to run out and get New Moon. Now it's still sitting in my TBR. LOL I haven't been able to get to it. I have Eclipse on my WL but I will probably buy it before it gets to me.

I like to go to the YA section in the bookstore and look around. I found a series by Alison Croggan that I just got the first book on my WL. It looks and sounds really good. Has anyone read that? The first book is called "The Naming"

I read Twilight and thought it was pretty good.  However, I am not a huge vampire fan so I may or may not read the second one.  But, I just read Laura's comment about Jacob being a werewolf and I simply LOVE werewolfs.  So, I guess I will probably go out and buy New Moon - I have my 20% off coupon from Borders.  Thanks for letting me know about the werewolf.  I guess I should have gotten a clue from the title, huh?

I've heard of this series, and heard it's good.  My question for those of you that have read them - Would I like it?  Or is it too 'girly' for lack of a better term?  I'm a fairly typical male with male tastes.  I like a little romantic stuff on occasion, but not if it's the focus of the story.  I do like thrills and suspense though.

yeah i don't know if you'd like this JB, it's very angsty and more about romance than anything else, imo.

I LOVE that series! I usually don't read those kinds of books, but I heard SO much about Twilight that I had to get it. Then I couldn't stop. LOL. I am on Team Edward ;) I finished Eclipse the other day and I can't wait till the next one comes out next year. If you don't know, it's called Breaking Dawn.

I can't wait for the next one and have to say that I was a bit aggravated with a few of the plot turns but overall I still love the series and I'm most definitely on Team Edward.  Jacob is a manipulative punk.  LOL

You know what I really can't wait for?  Her adult novel The Host.  It's due out May of 2008.  It sounds really, really good.
