Very entertaining. A bit far fetched, but so interesting you don't mind. Written it in the 60's so there are parts that can be offensive to homosexuality and sexism. Short book, only 160 pgs. but a ton of action.

Mike Hammer is a more intense version of the classic hardboiled detective. Hammer, a war verteran and staunch anitcommunist is just as likely to put a bullet in the belly as he is a punch to the face. If you enjoy Philip Marlowe and Sam Spade, check out Mike Hammer.
