Okay did I miss something important ??

I just recently accepted to mail out two books. They are to be mailed by the 26th.

Just now the two orders were canceled by PBS b/c I haven't printed off the mailer yet. WHAT?!?!?!?!?

I agree.  It just happened to 4 books I was to mail Sunday.  Seriously, WTF!

It must be some sort of glitch as the same thing just happened to me.

This just happened to me too. I had said I could mail the book the 24th and sometime last night I received an email saying the request had been canceled because I hadn't printed the address  yet. I assume this is not right?

Same thing here, I had four books scheduled to go out the 25, 26 and 27 and all four got cancelled.  Also, I had requested a book from a member yesterday and received a notice saying that they had given the member 48 hours to respond and had not heard anything so they were cancelling it.  I also got a notice saying one of my books was lost in the mail, but it had delivery confirmation on it and shows it as delivered.

I just found notification that my requests for four different books, from three different people, had been cancelled too.  Hope this can be fixed!

Me too.  They were due to be mailed by 11pm tonight.  I can only make it to the post office on my days off, which change every week.  Of course I sent in feedback about it before I came here to look.  Must just be a glitch.

Happened to me too! I had one that was only to go out by Tuesday and was going to be printing the label this morning.

If they are going to require printing the label as soon as a book is accepted then it would have been nice for us to be notified of it.

Two books cancelled for me, too, that were supposed to go out tomorrow.

Same here. One cancelled that came through last night and I marked to mail for 10/27 and one on my requested WL that cancelled on me too.

Four transactions for seven books that were supposed to go out over the weekend were cancelled for me! 

The same thing happened to me. Of course, it was a book that was on someone's wish list when I posted it so it was immediately accepted, and of course, it isn't now. Is there anything to do because I feel totally cheated of the credits.

I had a WL book request that was auto-accepted by me on 10/20 cancelled too!!!!

I wonder if there was a glitch in the PBS calendar, that the sytem thought we were a few days ahead of where we really are and cancelled all these orders.

It cancelled 2 of mine.  1 was WL so no big deal I'll just repost the book. But one had been on my shelf for several months.  So I'm not happy about having to go back to the end of hte FIFO line.  There's only 10 copies in the system which tells me this book isn't ordered often and it'll probably be several months before mine gets ordered again. 

Yeah, one was canceled that just requested last night.  The book had been on my shelf since I joined in March.  I'm curious to see how they're going to fix this.

I guess it could be something like that, but the only thing I see wrong with that is everyone seems to have had a different mail by date criteria to meet and they all got cancelled. From what I am reading in thread in CMT, it seems like every book that was not officially printed (either pending or request accepted) got cancelled in the system. Yikes, kind of a mess!

ETA: Okay not a HUGE deal, but I am a bit irritated now. I just realized that the Wishlist book I had requested that was cancelled from this, did NOT go back on my WL, I got tossed off the WL completely for it! Which means back to end of line! Crap!

If you send the team a message about this, they will put you back to your original position in the WL line.

I immediately PM'd the people I'd ordered from, they put the book back on, and I reordered. I hope the "fix" doesn't reorder the books for me! I'm wondering if I should just quickly spend the points I've got so they can't?

I sent feedback as well.  The e-mail that I received from PBS stated that because I hadn't printed a label, the order was canceled.  WTH?  I have three more days to print the label and two of those days are weekend days.  You know, when most of us don't WORK??! 

I guess I'm most frustrated with the "this club depends on members who do the right thing" blurb at the end of the automated message that was generated.  I was trying to do the right thing by being honest about when I could print labels and mail things.  I know, I know!  It's not just me.  It's frustrating though.

I also just had one canceled that was to be mailed on Monday. I guess I'll watch this space for an official answer?
