This is a wonderful book on tape to have "on the road". 7 CD's consist in a very interesting and winding road of suspense and excitement. Just when things seem to calm down, another twist and turn creates more excitement. I enjoyed it very much and it made my long driving trip...just fly on by...

Laughably dumb, I have read or listened to many of Mr. Woods' books and have found them an easy, light read but predicable, yet unbelievable. Two-Dollar Bill is so bad it became funny. At one point the heartless CIA spook is trying to get our boy Stone to help him in a interrogation, Stone refuses because he's eating dinner at Elaine's, the spook tries to shoot him in the knee, misses, and then Stone says OK. They continue their relationship as if nothing happened! I listened to it on audiobook, and Narrator (Tony Roberts who is very good) could not keep the accents of the cockamamie characters straight. Stuart Woods thinks we all want to hear what it's like to have money and live like a rockstar but without a logical plot it is a farce.

Stone Barrington is one of my favorite characters, and this installment did not disappoint. Excellent read.
