Disappointed. I enjoyed the first book in this duo, Two Masters for Alex, and thought it ended rather abruptly, leaving a lot of issues unresolved. So I was looking forward to the second book and resolution. However I found the continuation of the story to be really lacking. We continue to see them learning to live together, etc., but they men decide to have a D/s party and I thought what could have been a sexy scenario was tedious and served mainly to reinforce the idea that this pair is really gay not bisexual. The jealousy persists in this book peaking toward the end with a bit of a blow up but I wasn't convinced that the men were really falling in love with Alex. I have read Emma Holly books that really convince you that two men and a woman can be together and make it work. This book lacked that for me.

My last complaint is that at the end Alex has an encounter with someone who essentially abuses her - in a way that is utterly illegal. While it is easy to understand why she would choose not to go to the police, I felt like she just shrugged the whole thing off too easily. It was a serious situation and the emotional and psychological ramifications of that event weren't addressed at all. Characters lost credibility for me at that point.
