Can someone in the know explain to me how to go about doing a 2 books for 1 credit deal?  I see these listed in the forums, but don't understand the mechanics of how to handle the credits issue.

Advertise in the book bazaar.  Have the other member order 1 book and then PM you with their free book. You will then have to remove that book from your shelf manually.

Usually if you are having a deal, someone orders one book from your shelf and sends a PM naming another book they would like included "free". You remove the "free" book from your shelf, package both books together, print the label accounting for the weight of both books and mail like usual.

If you smoke or have pets you might want to put that in your post and or signature.  Then if someone has RCS against smoking or pets they'll know not to order.  Normally this would not be a problem as you can just decline their RCS. But when running a deal, if you decline for RCS it'll pass the request on to someone else who is most likely not running a deal.  Not everyone realizes this.

Also keep your thread  and shelf updated when people order.  I personally won't order a deal from someone if they're thread and shelf don't look updated.  Because then I have to wonder if someone else has requested one of the books I want since some people just PM and don't post in the thread.  So don't run a deal at a time when you can't check on it regularly.
