Just some information for those of you printing shipping labels from home.

For media mail ? such as PBS books ? I use Paypal (www.paypal.com/shipnow) . It?s simple to use once you have a Paypal account and the Delivery Confirmation is only 19c.

You do need a scale so as you can know the weight of the package you?re sending, I use a cheap, basic kitchen scale.

For Priority or Express mail either domestic or international, I use www.usps.com .  You have to create an account but again it?s easy to use and so far I haven?t received any junk email from them.  And it?s cheaper than going to the PO.  If you?re using the flat rate priority boxes, the prices are $4.75/$10.20/$13.95 and the Delivery Confirmation is FREE At the PO this would cost $4.90/$10.20/$14.50 plus an additional 80c for DC.  I use this service for non book games.

I tried www.stamps.com for an initial trial period but I don?t mail out enough to justify the monthly fee.  I found it kind of awkward to use also.

This may be helpful for those of you snowed in at the moment but even though that doesn?t apply to me, it saves me a trip to the PO.

Using PBS DC is how I choose to support this site.
