This has happened to me before.  :(

I print out postage at PBS and pay for certification.  Yesterday I immediately mailed out a request and today the package was in MY mailbox and I just checked the details of the shipment and it shows "delivered to Live Oak."   The package was dropped off at the mail post office today and arrows were drawn to the address of the person the package was mailed.

I thought it might be good to mention these experiences as it may happen to others.

I don't understand this.  I've not had it happen to me, yet, but given the quality of my PO I don't doubt that it will happen.  that sounds very strange!  Take it to your PO and ask what is going on.  I think that's the only way you'll get a solution.

It could be your PO didn't recognize that the postage on the package was already paid.  If you drop something in the mail with no postage on it, they will send it right back to you.  If it's got any postage at all, it's sent on to the receiver postage due.

Definitely talk to your PO about it, especially if it happens often.
