Oh wow! Congrats for that! Its very cool.

I read your post and dont have a lot to say other than i hope that maybe joining the blog and writing reviews, and enjoying books as much as you used to will help to start your healing process. Or at the very least it may prove to be efficient in soothing some of the hurt.

((hugs))  And lots of luck with the blog!

First, I'm so sorry about your friend.  Cancer is all around us and it sucks!

Also, I loved your blog post.  I think you'll do GREAT!

Willa, Great blog post. Having recently lost my mom after her own fight a couple of months ago I can so relate to your thoughts. I"m sure it was really hard to do but really appreciated. Everyone goes through grief differently but it is a common bond regardless of who you are grieving for.  Thanks for sharing your thoughts. Hope you post links to future postings.

Good post Willa.  I lost my dad to cancer at age 59.  Way too young.  I hope this outlet is a way for you to grieve and heal.  Hugs.

Thanks guys. I just got back from his memorial. It was wonderful hearing all these great stories and seeing how much people loved him. He was such a generous person and gave so much of himself.

I loved your blog entry and really appreciate that you spoke about grief.  I am a bereaved parent and I think our culture would be a lot healthier if we addressed grief more openly. You did a wonderful job.  Your friend sounds like an amazing person - thank you for sharing a little of him with us.

That was a wonderful blog - I think it was a fantastic start, I can't wait to read more. I am really sorry to hear about your loss - I am sure you know so many understand what you are going through.

That quote you had from someone making a snippy comment about a book - that was wrong on so many levels. To me, when someone makes a comment like that, they usually have low self-esteem.
