The Queen Betsy books aren't meant to be taken seriously. They are a light-hearted read that can easily be finished in a day.

Queen Betsy is irreverent and has the mouth of a sailor. Four letter words are liberally sprinkled throughout the story. The love scenes are equally as graphic.

The plot is a little thin and seems to go nowhere in a hurry. There is very little substance found between the sarcastic remarks and the occasional fight scene. But, it is still a fun read for the Davidson fans that have read from the beginning.
