When reading this book I was pulled in by the goddess mythology based story-line. I quickly was introduced to a sort of love triangle between the main character Quinn Caldwell, Sam her assistant, and Nick Jarrett her protector. I found her dynamic relationship with the men to be rather intriguing.
I also quite liked the mystery of the book, and how she gains a relationship with a sister she didn't know existed till later. For I have a sister myself, and understand the sister bond you can have. I worry about Quinn's character with her newly obtained powers, though it may create an interest ordeal for the future plot.
I enjoyed the book and plan to continue the series
