I'm reading this book, now about half way through it.  I am stuck in the issue of I just want it to be over!  I can't seem to put it down because it is so strange that I have to know how it all ends up in the end to see if I can make some sense of it.

Being half way through it I still really have no clue what is going on....Has anyone read this?  Is it worth it in the end?  If it wasn't so twisted, and was left at just plain boring then I would have put it down awhile ago.

Did you like this book?  Hate it?  Is there hope in an ending that I will be like..'Wow, so glad I stuck that one out!" ?

I heard his other books were great but I just don't get this one...

I read it a few years ago and felt then exactly like you do now......I finished it just to see if it would get better.

I didn't really think at the end "Wow, so glad I stuck that one out!'  but also did not think it was a total waste of time.

So if you feel compelled to finish it just out of curiosity, go for it.

But if you are really bored and have tons of books on your TBR mountain.........stop reading it!

Life is too short to read bad books.

I later read another of his books "The Courage Consort" and hated it immensely. But I did like "The Crimson Petal and The White".

Go figure.
