Looking for books about Firefighters or  doctors/vets or maybe sports players (though only football players if it is a really great book)

I am getting sick of every contemp that I read that is about cops/detectives and movie stars.

I want your personal opinion if the book is good though, cause even though it starts a hot professonal doesn't mean the story is quality. Thanks mucho!

Also I am looking for massmarket paperbacks--no harloquins please

Jill Shalvis has a trilogy about firemen - blue flame, then red and white in the other 2 titles. they're still in mt tbr but others have seemed to like them

seems like Catherine Anderson has one about a vet - again mt tbr sorry.

also not strictly romance but more women's ficiton -susan wiggs has Just  Breathe where the guy's a fireman but it deals more with the woman 'finding herself' or whatever though(no sex except a little closed door type)

robyn carr's virgin river series has a midwife and a doctor later on (ongoing series about a small town. a lot going on and a bunch of side romances later on.

I love Catherine Anderson's Sunshine---that the one where he is a vet. His brother is a vet too (and his twin) but I'm not sure if the brother's book is out yet!

Jo Davis has Trial by fire and Under Fire so far with a third to be released soon. Romances with some heat. ;)

The Jo Davis books are really good, IMO.

The following were also really good (again IMO):

Bella Andre

MJ Fredrick

I enjoyed Erin McCarthy's books about NASCAR race drivers.  Flat Out Sexy and Hard and Fast with more in the series to be published at some future date.

Well, I guess great minds think alike!!  Have you read the Chicago Stars series by Susan Elizabeth Phillips (It Had to be You,  Heaven Texas, Nobody's Baby but Mine, This Heart of Mine & Natural Born Charmer)?  Lots of Football players & some of my favorite books.

Pamela Britton has a series about NASCAR drivers. Ditto about SEP with the Chicago Stars.

Susan Wigss' Fireside is about a baseball player.

Carly Philips' Hot Zone series deal with sport players as well.
