Someone listed this as an unpostable set because of not being in orignal box. .6 disks ... is not in original box. Disks are in cardboard insets and all discs are fine and play well. This is what the help docs said. Audiobooks MUST be the original cassettes/CDs, but do NOT have to include the outer "box" that held the set. Does that mean that have to have an original inner box? I'm confused nos. Thanks, |

Nancy - I'm not sure I understand your question. When you said "Someone listed this as an unpostable set because of not being in orignal box." Where did they list them? Was this an audiobook posted into the system? Or did you post them and somebody else marked them received with a problem? |

Sounds like the person that posted those did not realize that they did not have to be in the box. The help doc is just saying that it has be the original cassettes/CD's . . . they cannot be copied cassettes or cd's. |

This is an "unpostable audio book" post in the Book Bazaar. No, you don't need to have the original box. Last Edited on: 6/6/12 6:20 PM ET - Total times edited: 1 |

Not all members understand postability guidelines, or they don't want to mail to someone that may not understand. So we see items listed in the unpostable threads that my actually be postable. That said, CD's must be playable but do not have to be shipped in the original packaging. |

Thanks for the replies. It just concerns me when someone says this is unpostable when it's not. It may cause other members who read it to assume that is true and then respond with a problem when they get a similar audiobook. I wondered if I should post in her thread that not having the box does not make the set unpostable or just mind my own businees. I can certainly see posting in the bazaar in this situation, but better wording might be I am not comfortable posting this into the system even though this is postable. |
